Christmas is a time to contemplate the Savior.

Why would the Eternal Judge leave his Eternal Throne to come to earth and be judged by men? Why would he give all His strength to overcome the infinite obstacle of our sins, imperfections, death, and a fallen world when He had no imperfections to overcome himself? Why does he constantly serve us considering the disappointment we cause him daily? The scriptures give us the answers to these questions. Read them at home or at http://scriptures.lds.org We still can not fully comprehend the infinite love or fully appreciate his infinite atonement. We cannot fully appreciate the loneliness of the Savior as "[He] looked, and there was none to help." Isaiah 63:5 He suffered all kinds of pain with such infinite severity that no mortal man could suffer and live, and He did all this so we could have faith and recieve the free gift of forgiveness(that no mortal power or exercise could bring about) as we strive to but keep his commandments. I hope that we all focus on Christ during this season and learn more about him through prayer, study, and faith.
